In 2025, the Organising Committee of the Gyulai Istv\u00e1n Memorial \u2013 Hungarian Athletics Grand Prix will once again announce its traditional 100-meter sprint race for amateurs, titled \u201cHow Fast Are You Over 100?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n We all know our shoe or clothing size, we keep track of our weight and height, and many of us are even aware of our average pace during training runs. But how many of us actually know how fast we are over 100 meters?<\/p>\n Now in its 11th edition, this 100-meter sprint competition \u2013 open to both amateur and advanced runners, with male and female categories \u2013 offers participants a chance to test themselves and see how close they can get to professional-level performances. And of course, to experience what it\u2019s like to run the classic distance under real competition conditions.<\/p>\n Spectators won\u2019t be disappointed either \u2013 even without running shoes \u2013 as they can enjoy the atmosphere, excitement, and unique experience of a professional athletics event.<\/p>\n Both the heats and the final will feature professional timekeeping and certified officials.<\/p>\n 1. DATE AND VENUE OF THE COMPETITION<\/strong><\/p>\n Heats:<\/strong> Final:<\/strong> \n 2. PARTICIPANTS<\/strong><\/p>\n Categories:<\/strong> <\/p>\n Participant Limit<\/strong><\/p>\n We kindly inform all prospective participants that a maximum of 80 competitors per category<\/strong> will be accepted!<\/p>\n Registrations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. This means that only the first 80 valid entries<\/strong><\/span> received per category<\/strong> can be accepted.<\/p>\n Amateur Category<\/strong><\/p>\n Open to Hungarian citizens<\/strong> who have reached the age of 10<\/strong> (born before August 12, 2015<\/strong>) and do not<\/strong><\/span> hold a valid competition license or medical certificate in the Hungarian Athletics Association\u2019s Information System (MIR)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Registered (Licensed) Category<\/strong><\/p>\n Open to athletes who have reached the age of 14<\/strong> (born before August 12, 2011<\/strong>) and do<\/strong> hold a valid competition license and<\/strong> medical certificate in the Hungarian Athletics Association\u2019s Information System (MIR)<\/strong>, and who have been officially entered by their athletics club.<\/p>\n \n
