How fast YOU run the 100m?

In 2025, the Organising Committee of the Gyulai István Memorial – Hungarian Athletics Grand Prix will once again announce its traditional 100-meter sprint race for amateurs, titled “How Fast Are You Over 100?”

We all know our shoe or clothing size, we keep track of our weight and height, and many of us are even aware of our average pace during training runs. But how many of us actually know how fast we are over 100 meters?

Now in its 11th edition, this 100-meter sprint competition – open to both amateur and advanced runners, with male and female categories – offers participants a chance to test themselves and see how close they can get to professional-level performances. And of course, to experience what it’s like to run the classic distance under real competition conditions.

Spectators won’t be disappointed either – even without running shoes – as they can enjoy the atmosphere, excitement, and unique experience of a professional athletics event.

Both the heats and the final will feature professional timekeeping and certified officials.
