Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce returns to the Gyulai István Memorial
The start list for the women’s 100 metres at the Gyulai István Memorial – Hungarian Athletics Grand Prix has gained a true superstar: on August 12 in Budapest, at the National Athletic Center, fans will have the chance to see the crowned queen of women’s sprinting, a long-time fan favorite and legendary Jamaican athlete, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce.
One of the sport’s most colorful and beloved personalities, Fraser-Pryce is a three-time Olympic and ten-time World Champion, with a total of 25 Olympic and World Championship medals to her name. She also holds the meeting record in the event. For the 38-year-old global icon, the Gyulai Memorial will mark her first race since June, as she prepares for her ninth and final World Athletics Championships, to be held in Tokyo this September.
